Board of Director Election

The Chamber is looking for energetic members to join its Board of Directors. As a Chamber Director you will have
the opportunity to take a “hands on” participation in Chamber matters as well as important issues facing our
community.

This August 3rd, 2005 the Chamber will hold it annual Board of Director Election; all twelve (12) Director Position
are up for election. All members who do business or own commercial property in Atwater Village and have current
membership dues are eligible to run as a candidate for Board of Directors.

Representatives from the businesses of eligible members are also qualified to be candidates for the Board of
Director Election. Eligible Representatives are limited to paid employees, family members, or individuals directly
involved in the operation of the business.

Board of Director are required to commitment to:

		Attend monthly Board Meetings every 3rd Wednesday of the month (evening meetings from 6:30pm to 8:
		00pm)
		Volunteer and participate on various Chamber events / projects; such as Chamber Mixers, “Trick-or-Treat”
		on Glendale Blvd Event, Christmas Tree Lighting Event, Newsletter & Website development and much more.
		Take a leadership role in promoting the civic, economic, educational and social welfare of the People of the
		Atwater Village community.

info@atwaterchamber.org. “Letter of interest” must be received by June 14th, 2005.
